My family and I had been hunkered in the basement for awhile and my father restless and went upstairs for a peek. I'll never forget him flying down the stairs, shouting, "Get down! It's coming!" It ended up hopping over our neighborhood and wiping out a whole subdivision on the other side of us. I too have been in almost every kind of wild weather element Mother Nature can create and I still find tornadoes to be the scariest because of their spontaneous nature, especially when they appear at night.SRQhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10076279765970764962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806671613875975371.post-90922254390892976182010-07-24T07:29:24.399-04:002010-07-24T07:29:24.399-04:00wow, nothing like that up here in Brunswick. It's eerie, beautiful, and you instinctively know it's something to seek shelter from. We had a photo in the Brattleboro Reformer yesterday of a leveled barn in Gorham. Hope the damage will soon be repaired and that no more tornadoes visit Maine. Any, by the way, that's a great photograph.brattcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10382428477056833533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806671613875975371.post-52284661981098564012010-07-24T01:00:54.174-04:002010-07-24T01:00:54.174-04:00what an experience. we have microbursts on occasio...what an experience. we have microbursts on occasion but no tornados. sounds scaryJulie ScottsdaleDailyPhoto.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14540864800524356267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-806671613875975371.post-87466325791833688752010-07-24T00:44:43.378-04:002010-07-24T00:44:43.378-04:00wow, that sounds scary!
