Blue Wave

It's all about the hair. Want to make a statement? Make it with hair. I've always been a strong advocate of that age old adage 'clothes make the man', but hair for me is a strong second. Whether guy or gal, one's hair says a lot about who you are and where you MIGHT be headed. Get it? So what do you think? Is this a gentleman's blue wave or a young lady's coiffured mohawk? Live the do! Hairdo that is.

  1. Well, in general I support the individual style of dressing and wearing. But I don't like this hair and personally I don't want wear such, but is freedom of choice and he (she) does not harm anyone. So let it be we dress like we want and how we feel conveniently and let it be the individual style, even on our head :-)

  2. Definitely a young man...one time asked a kid how his mother liked his "do" and he said she "loved it!" To each his own.

  3. Yes, it does look like the hairstyle can say a lot about the person... :)
    God bless you!

  4. Hmmm...I think it's a girl. I love that color blue..."manic panic"? I tried dying my hair red in high school with that stuff, but it came out pink. Ah, good times, good times!

    Have a great weekend!

  6. I'm going to guess it's a guy and I'll imagine that he's carrying a skate board. However, my further imagination puts him 20 years from now in a business suit making management decisions at the local JP Morgan Chase. (If he sees this, I'm sure it would make him cringe.)

  7. I'm not sure what I think, but this is reminding me of an embarrassing moment when I took my 2 year old granddaughter to McDonalds not too long ago. A woman walked in with hair this color and my granddaughter started shouting "blue hair!" over and over again. I couldn't get her to stop. It's funny now, but it wasn't at the time it happened.

  9. The punk look, still going strong since the 1970s!

  10. I think it's a guy who will look back 30 years from now with fond memories of his rebellious stage. We have just had 2 punk rockers from the 70s elected to parliament here and they both look so mainstream that it's hard to believe they were rebels.

  11. I had a Mohawk when I was a Sophomore in HS. That was back in 1951 - I think. I liked it better than all the glow paint.

  12. You are right, but this supposes that one still have a reasonable quantity of hair...

  13. Great comments you stimulated today, Birdman. I was going to guess a young woman but you answered it already. I went through the blue and purple and red and orange hair colors with my kids and it certainly didn't hurt the one who got her M.B.A. last year. The other one? I don't think hair color is the problem . . .

  14. That looks like the ass end of a rooster! Sheesh!

And with regard to your comment on Ocala, how come you know so much about hair or the lack thereof? :-)

  15. I vote a young man's 'faux' hawk. When my kids would get crazy with their hair, I always had to calm my husband down (he was in the military for 20 years). I told him we had to pick your battles and it's only hair after all. A simple bit of self expression that hurts no one.

  17. Hahahahaha! not only has she an amazing colour choice but it kinda looks like it might be a 'fullet'. Now that's not as rude as it sounds, it's just a female version of a 'mullet' and if anyone is still not sure, that means short on top and long at back!! what a great post Birdman, made me laugh out loud!!!

  19. That is what some of the politicians do over here.....
An election coming up soon, so we have politicians in different colors these days.
