perfect, poignant still life. sorry about the loss of your friend, birdman.
Sorry about your friend but it is so true.
Ah yes... once you are born, there is a 100% chance that you will die. Just have to make the most of the time we have here. Sorry for the loss of your friend.
This photo represents your words very well.
i am sorry for your loss, but hopeful your friend is at peace...
A photographic metaphor, well-enhanced in text. Thanks.
Wonderful post Birdman. So sorry for your loss.
Yes---we all get life AND death... What I wish we'd learn to do is to celebrate death as much as celebrate life. But--we don't. Sometimes we mourn and grieve for months and even years after losing someone we love. I was always taught that I need to celebrate the time we had together instead of mourning the loss. When I lost my Mom, YES--it hurt and YES, I cried. BUT--Mom would want me to celebrate her --and then go on with my life. That's what I did....Betsy
Hard to see a friend go. Hard.
Your friend was a wise person. There are no second acts, and living in the moment is a hard lesson to learn...often when it's too late. So my friends, Carpe Diem!
A nice, sensitive photo for today's post. Sorry about your friend, but, you are right. The bell tolls for all of us, sooner or later.
Sorry for the loss of a friend Bird, but it sounds like he is where he wanted to be. Lovely words today as always.V
Hello! I am sorry...
Hard to loose friends.
Great post and fitting image. Sorry about your friend, Birdman.
It was nice that he was able to say his goodbyes. So hard to let go of life. Even my potted flowers still want to bloom.
I totally get this. Very fine post.
