Big Sky

Outside the Big Sky Bakery On Deering Avenue these bikes and scooters await the return trip home on a Sunday morning. The bakery is in a section of the old firehouse building at Woodfords Corner. On the other side is Artist and Craftsman Supply. Most days, when you're shopping for artist paper, paint or brushes, you can smell the aroma of fresh baked bread seeping its way through the walls. Back outside, as you can tell by these lonely trellises by the bikes, spring is still a bit off for some flowering vines.

  1. Nice shot Birdman. Why do bikes always look so good in photographs?

  2. How I love this place! Did you know we can get Big Sky granola in Brattleboro now? It's sold at our local Hannafords.

  4. Biking is such a fun thing to do in the summer! Against the bright brick, looks like they're just about ready to take off.

I'm on my way back to Saint Paul from Santa Fe,without ready access to internet so I have not been commenting much lately. I am still posting from SF since I scheduled it before we left. So sad to leave such beauty.

  5. Nice composition here and the color of the wall pops. I agree with PJ Taylor, bikes always do look good in photos. Maybe it triggers some childhood memories or something.
