Look what I caught hanging around my garden Sunday just before sunset. With apologies to Jamie Wyeth and Shipyard Brewing Co. and of course Washington Irving... it's my Mr. Pumpkinhead, here among the dead sunflowers and corn stalks.

It's alive!
ReplyDeleteSomeone was having fun!
ReplyDeleteA well dressed pumpkin, I must say, though the tie is a bit conservative for this dapper figure. Looks like it could walk right up and say, 'boo'.

Clever and funny, just like you, I suspect.
ReplyDeleteI hope you ran after taking this photo.
ReplyDeleteWow really impressive, people there must be prepared! :)

ReplyDeleteHmmm... an interesting find!
ReplyDeleteI'm behind the camera--- What do you think? Birdman Jr.
ReplyDeleteMr. Pumpkinhead is very stylish!
ReplyDeleteThat is a really fun shot. I watch too many scary movies so that kind of thing would scare me. I loved your choice yesterday for public transportation!
ReplyDeleteA quite fashionable Mr. Pumpkinhead, my compliments to his stylist!
ReplyDeleteI must say this is a neat photo of Mr. Pumpkinhead.
ReplyDeleteHave not seen something like this before, very funny !
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at the evolution of Halloween since when I was a kid to what it is today. Used to be sweet loot and gentle pranks. Now the stakes are a lot higher. Someone must be making money on the deal.
ReplyDeleteI really like your literary quote widget. It's probably different every time someone visits your blog but I got St. Louisan William S. Burroughs today. I've photographed his grave here. Always remember: language is a virus from outer space.
Nice one. I will have to try this next year.
ReplyDeleteNice scarf.
