Most spring days here at Higgins Beach, you'll find a surfer or two but today walkers were all that were 'riding' waves. Today is my nephew Zack's birthday. He traveled from the East Coast to the West to catch his wave. He's in surfer heaven in Huntington Beach these days catching waves. Me? The only waves I'm catching is from my legion of fans and those are few and far between. Zack, this afternoon after work, head to the beach and catch a good one, then kick back with some favorite Marley tunes.
Happy Birthday, mon!
Happy Birthday to your nephew, Zack... Sounds like he is truly in surfer heaven... I have never surfed (and never will)--but I do enjoy watching them...

ReplyDeleteHere comes a wave from Arizona!! It does look a tiny bit chilly on the beach in this shot.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Zack.

Still looks a little cool there, but a good day to walk the beach even if you can't surf. And you can go home and surf on your computer to your little heart's content! :-)
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm a fan!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried surfing (sure, have a go at that on the Mississippi) so I don't understand the mystique. Lots of us look for our perfect wave off the ocean.
