Travelog #5

I like Disney!
I grew up with Walt Disney.
I had a raccoon cap just like Fess Parker in the movie Davy Crockett.  I knew that theme song by heart.
I like Disney!
We've visited Disney World many times. On a visit out to California to see one of Elenka's cousins, we even took a side trip to Disneyland. We've taken two cruises on the Disney MAGIC. We like to visit Downtown Disney. As a matter of fact, we recently walked streets there. We've stayed at Disney hotels too. Twice we've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and Coronado Springs.
Did I tell you I like Disney?
I like the Mouse!
I really do!

  1. Disney professes to be the happiest place on earth. I have NEVER had a bad experience at anything Disney. Their attention to detail is right up my alley. I have to confess, every time I'd at anything Disney, I AM happy. I love, love, love it.

Everything is first class and a visual festival. I see all the design work and art that is everywhere. Incredible.

  3. Nothing wrong with happiness, but I think there is a twelve step program for those who are addicted to Disney enterprises.

  6. Wonderful World of Disney on TV: Magic. Disneyland as part of a cross country camping trip in the 70's: Magic. The films & the art: Magic. The man himself had such a personna & I don't think Tom Hanks should have tried to portray him in Saving Mr. Banks because no one can. Glad you get to visit Disney often!

  7. My daughter and her husband are Disney fanatics and they recently moved to Orlando (I have not forgiven her for taking my 2 oldest grandkids away from me…sniff, sniff). They live about 20 minutes from Disney World, so at least I don't have to stay in a hotel when I go there anymore. The Animal Kingdom Park is my favorite. That Cirque du Soleil show at Downtown Disney is pretty good too.

  8. Disney used to be talked about all the time as an exemplar of perfect customer service. I don't hear that any more, so I had started to wonder if the bloom is off the rose. Apparently not in the Birdperson family.
