I applaud the idea of dreaming big. Just finished an interesting book called The Lunatic Express by Carl Hoffman about shipping out...you might like it?!
Gee, I am feeling inadequate now. I am one of those consistent types who rarely changes directions in any important way. But, how about if I think about changing? Is that good enough?
Love the model and your words of encouragement! Sorry I been so quiet these last couple weeks, I’ve been really ill (now finally diagnosed with Whooping Cough even though I was immunized) and have had another very rough week.
Went to the Maritime Museum in Bath, Me. a number of years ago and really enjoyed studying the old boats and how they were made. When I first retired I wasn't allowed to do to much, heart issue, so I built 3 models of boats. I should take pictures of them and post them. I use to build RC airplanes but moved to a condo so I ran out of room to build or store.
Birdman, who you talkin' to? Why do I have the niggling feeling you wrote this at least partly tongue in cheek? Anyway, it's the story of my life. And now I'm on them troubled waters and headed who knows where... LOL!! It may be a dream; it may be a nightmare. Time will tell.
