I'm interested in taking a look at some of these performers.

  3. I like going to the big concerts but I love going to see local bands and musicians. It makes me realize that there are lots of creative people out there.

  7. One would think the Strangled Darlings would have a hard time singing. I love the names Lunch Cult and Heavy Trash and I'd have to check out the Geeks who Drink just see if they were really geeky.

  14. Fun names! I like Pugwash, I the word sound works for me. Our locals don't sound as much fun as yours. This weekend some of the groups here: BluMeadows, Luck of the Draw, Soul Ducks, Dos Locos, Cat's Meow Jazz Band, Pretty Twisted.

  16. I think my favorite Indie band name is Heartless Bastards. It's just fun to say it. Not on your docket yet; I guess they're having too fun being heartless or bastards or both over our way.

  18. Oh boy! These band names are great, Birdman. I think some of them would make awesome book titles: Lunch Cult, Strangled Darlings, The Cabin Project, Suicide Girls, and Geeks Who Drink.
