The last time I was here was last winter in snow cover. As I told you at the time, the shot is taken from the Munjoy Hill area looking down toward Bayside. The water in the distance is Back Bay and across the water in the distance is my old high school. A sunny late spring day is ahead for us. Our garden is in. The porch mini project is just about complete. It's where I like to hang out early mornings so that's a good thing. Now it'll be full speed ahead on the deck. We are scraping, priming and restaining it all. No small feat to do it right.
I'll keep you posted on our progress in that area.
If you've got it today, enjoy the sun.
Parking is downhill.
But sunny weather is looking up!
All the outdoor chores to be done while the sun shines!
ReplyDeleteLove that view!
ReplyDeletei'd probably have to practice that parking as we're pretty well flat-landed here. :) happy decking!
ReplyDeleteI like the row of colorful houses.
ReplyDeleteParallel parking on a hill like that with standard shift can be tricky. :-)
ReplyDeleteI know, I know. When it comes to staining, it takes large feet.
ReplyDeletehope they've got strong handbrakes
ReplyDeleteI like the look of this neighborhood. Tasks when owning a home is endless.
ReplyDeleteLove those bright, cheery houses.
ReplyDeleteNice street, Birdman. What is all this work? You are retired. RETIRED. That means you can goof off. Take it easy. You have the rest of your life to finish the job.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jack. I'll pass that on to my 'boss'.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful image!!
Lovely colours on those wooden houses.
ReplyDeleteLove those colorful houses...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic view! Do you do balcony gardens? I'd exchange a couple of nights in our guest room for some help. ;-)
ReplyDeleteQuite a slope! I can see problems with icy surfaces in the winter.
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE these colourful houses built on a slope!
