Winter's Back

Well, three weeks into spring and winter's back for a day. We're scheduled for a wintery mix here near the coast. Some ice, freezing rain, sleet and a bit of snow headed back this way. My friend, Mr. Weatherman, is saying 1-3 inches of this crap throughout the morning and afternoon. Nothing falling yet outside my kitchen window at 5:15 AM, but it's coming.
Ain't life grand?

 btw Here's Elenka finished work of 'snow on the Hill'. Thought it would be perfect for today.

    elenka's work is perfect EVERY day. we were also told to expect a wintry mix but right now it's just rain.

    Love the painting - the red against that softened winter light . . . the kind that brings . . . snow. Yep, we're supposed to get the 'wintry mix,' too. Lurvely.

    Kudos to Elenka! This is absolutely a superb painting. I'd be proud to hang it on my wall.

    Especially, as we're deprived of the whiteness.

    Gradually spring will come and the snow will quit. I think.

    I would never tire of winter if I had Elenka's painting to look at. No snow here but plenty of "raw and nasty".

    Oh wow, I'm in awe. love this painting Elenka, snow never looked so beautiful. I was just thinking of bringing my paint brushes out..maybe I'll leave it for a while :)

    It's a beautiful painting! Wish winter will end soon on your corner of the world. Rain has finally stoped here and days are great with bright sun and temperatures around 20ºC.
