Red looks good in snow, but I've had enough of photographing it this winter. We're getting more today and tomorrow, but even the weather guys are confused by this one. Parking bans all over. Cancellations already. Schools are closing early. Tune in any local radio or TV station this morning and get ready to hear estimations of snowfall, over the next couple of days, all over the place. I'm hearing possible snow and ice anywheres from 2-3 inches, up to an amazing 16-18 inches along the coast here. Good luck planning your day!
Life in southern Maine in March.
Dontcha love it!
If you let it, weather will drive you crazy around here.
Weather.
It too will pass.
I understand you have enough of it; But living in a blue part of the world (blue sea, blue skies..), I still like your pictures.I'd like sooo much to be able to send you some of the light we have here.. Hold on!
ReplyDeleteoh wow, i hope it's not as bad as they are saying! we are going to be near 70 today with thunderstorms and tornado watches...then it shows rain/snow late tonight, weird!
ReplyDeleteThe bright red bricks seem to be the only bright spot in your city today. Hang in there!!
ReplyDeleteit's a beauty.
ReplyDeleteLove the shot! We are getting the same storm here but most of it is supposed to stay south of Lake Ontario hitting Buffalo & Rochester. It's very depressing to look out and see more snow!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if those apartments look as good on the inside as they do on the outside with their redness flavoring the snow.
ReplyDeleteThat's all you need - more snow!
The building looks distinguished, the snow like an ermine collar on a red coat. And, yes, everything will pass. We just have to endure until it does.
ReplyDeleteWe're getting snow today again...
ReplyDeleteI like the architectural style here.
Come on over to Portland, Oregon where the sun is actually shining. :)
ReplyDeleteRed does look good in winter. I understand your pain. It is going to be cold here, too, maybe 60s. I will have to play golf in long pants.
ReplyDeleteThe red does look good in the snow.
