Did you make resolutions last night? I did. I really don't know why though, because I, like many others, break them within two weeks. However, when I set my mind to something, I can get a lot accomplished. I'm just better off starting in March or April sometime. There's not a lot of pressure then. So here are my latest can't miss resolutions for the upcoming year:
1. Gain 20 pounds!
2. Smoke a pack of Camels a day!
3. Fire my personal trainer!
4. Get myself into more stressful situations!
5. Get in debt!
6. Drive myself to drink!
7. Leave my desk just the way it is!
8. Eat more fried foods!
9. Spend all my money!
10. Barricade myself in my fortress. See no one!
Can I keep them all? Stay tuned!
GRIN!
Hahaha! The first one is too easy. Very 'tongue in cheek' Birdman , fun start to the new year!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Happy New Year! Love the snow on the chair.
ReplyDeleteLord help me.....
ReplyDeleteI like the way your mind works. Very devious. Sneaky. But I think Elenka is gonna need some help.
ReplyDeleteI never make resolutions. Well, I should say I've resolved to never make resolutions. People keep telling me I need more will power. But, heck, I've got lots of "will" power. When it comes to food, for instance, I will eat anything in sight. What I lack is "won't" power.
I'm afraid 2013 will mimic 2012 in some ways. Darn!
Those resolutions sound like it'll be a typical year! Lovely winter photo...Happy New Year to you!!
ReplyDeleteNow that is a good set of resolutions. I'll be starting on number one today. Traditionally, I have Mexican Food with a group of great friends every New Year's Day.
ReplyDeleteThose are my kind of resolutions I have one more though, Sample every kinds of dessert I come across.
ReplyDeletethe most honest and realistic list i've seen! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are my kind of resolutions. I have worked hard to get to my present sorry state and I'm not about to change now.
ReplyDeleteHave a great New Year!
Happy grumpy Year! :o)
ReplyDeleteNo resolutions for me. I am just planning to wake up every morning. Once that has been accomplished, the rest is a gift!
ReplyDeleteThe Devil's Resolutions! That is one happy looking chair, BTW...Best to you all!
ReplyDeleteI'm ALL about #7 :)
ReplyDeletehahaha: Love the spirit here. I'm going to add 'take more naps' to my list.
ReplyDeleteLOL - thank you for kicking us off with a big grin in 2013! Love the photo too:) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHeck, those are all pretty easy, except maybe the last one.
ReplyDeleteI suggest # 11: don't sit in chairs filled with snow.
Literally a "cool" chair in the snow. Your resolutions are just so great -- I can't top those! -- barbara
ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
amazing...we have the same list...no wonder we get along so well.
ReplyDeleteHaha -- perfect list. I usually wait until one week into the new year to make my resolutions. Then, I try to review them every couple of months. (Seriously.)
ReplyDeleteVery funny. Good luck with all of them.
