Plate

I found this attached to a Volkswagen bug in a parking garage. We stopped here a few years ago. The Dali. The Salvador Dali Museum is located in St. Petersburg. It was a really fun place to visit. The gift shop was an interesting place as well. I would have never bought this vanity place as a souvenir though. First, I detest vanity plates in all shapes and forms, and second of all I couldn't use it. Maine requires both a front and back numbered plate. We call them plates up here. They go by the name tag in other states. What do you call them?

Maybe a coffee cup with this design would do. It is slightly cool.

  2. Plates and we are required two but many front plates are missing or swapped out of the vanity style. My Miata looked better without the front plate.

I was at the old Dali Museum in St Pete's and loved it - heard that the new one is spectacular!

  9. Didn't know that some states require only one plate. See? Learn somethin' every day from Birdman . . .

  10. I don't have a vanity plate! Honest! I liked the portrayal of Salvador Dali in Midnight in Paris. So, if you are in Florida in winter, can we call you Snowbirdman? What I like, more than the plate, is that you notice things, even in parking garages...

  11. But it IS pretty colorful and pretty clever. For a state like Connecticut or Florida, which only requires one, it is a bit of a dilemma about what to put in front if your car has a plate holder there. (My old one does, but the newer one doesn't.) If the Red Sox play better, a Red Sox plate is a possibility.

  12. Plates in Minnesota. This plate does resemble your blog letters just a bit. A mug would be the extent of indulgence for me though.
