Today I'm posting my 1,oooth photograph on this my citydailyphotoblog. I haven't missed a day since December 31, 2008. I've tried hard to post just one photo and have stayed pretty true to that, with few exceptions. In my images, I've tried to show off the city of Portland, and some comings and going in my backyard, with a bit of me sprinkled in for good measure. Back then, I had been looking for a project to showcase some of my recent photos when I came across a daily photoblog and the rest is history. It's been fun and quite a challenge some days to get a picture and a few words up and posted each morning. Another piece of the project that I never expected has been all my new blog friends. City Light

Good for you! I also started in 2008 (November) and have posted everyday...but as you know, was not able to post just one photo...out of control. Your idea is much better.

ReplyDeletegorgeous colors and that is quite impressive, 1000 posts! i started in 2008 as well after somehow stumbling onto paris daily photo and eventually thought it would be fun to do and learn about the town/area i was living in at the time in georgia. since then we've moved to virginia of course and it's been fun to learn about all the new things i am seeing here as well but i haven't been as dedicated as you! congrats!!

ReplyDeleteWow, 1000 pics. Tomorrow, number 1 of the next 1000. I enjoy your photos of Portland, it's people and sometimes history. It's a great part of our country. By the way have you ever been to either the Muddy Rudder or Otto's? I also ate on a former ferry boat in the harbor where the meal was great.
