Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if I had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
F. Frost
What exciting weather you experience !
ReplyDeleteI'd say it is by ice as the window on the right is open......buuuurrrrrrr. My choice would be Ice and yet I don't like cold.
ReplyDeletebelle photo , et bien accompagne par ce poeme de Frost
ReplyDeleteI wish it could be ice. That's because it's so warm here that I want real winter.
ReplyDeleteThe weather all over has been unpredictable, or so it seems.
ReplyDeleteThe glow in that building does look a bit like it's on fire!
ReplyDeletewhatever the end may be, let it be quick and painfree! :)
ReplyDeleteThis picture is brilliant and I also like the poem.I agree with Ciel, I also want a real winter, no snow this year in Luxembourg, only rain!
ReplyDeleteLéia
Snow and fire
ReplyDeleteA little ice
Most will cry
It's just not nice
The end should come
The world ablaze
With all afraid
With all amazed
And then we'll know
Of climate change
The terror formed
From our neglect
And how we must now
Pay the cost
And he'd agree
Would Mr. Frost!
Great fiery light!!!
