Gunslingers

Let's get this on the table right off the bat. As soon as these two rode into town, they were trouble right from the start. Can't you tell? Look into those eyes. Mom and Dad had their hands full all right. Bang, bang, bang rang out throughout the house from this Christmas morning on. Yesterday was Bastille Day in France. The Bastille was stormed on 14 July 1789 and became a symbol of a rising country. When we got these outfits there was an uprising of sorts. And so today, as I rise early on my 29th birthday again, I look off towards the horizon and more adventures ahead for me.
I'm excited!
Giddy-up!

  1. That brings back memories of Roy Rogersand double 6 guns. This was pre Jedi light sabres.

  2. I used to comb the Sears catalog and wish longingly for the Dale Evans costume. All that cowgirl fringe looked wonderful to me.

  3. I think there are bats in your bastille! Although I do remember playing "Cowboys and Indians" when a kid, as well as "Cops and Robbers." Didn't do me much good, though. I didn't stop aging at 29 like some pistol-packin' kid I know.

  12. Sounds like Groundhog Day in Maine. There's an old picture around somewhere on me in a cowboy suit. We Northeasterners didn't have a lot of range to ride.

  28. Now I need to dig through my old photos. I'll have to put my brothers and my outlaw gang up. The gang started in Florida and was still active Texas and then moved to Van Buren, ME. Got splinters from the horse, the one with the head on a stick. Memories;-D
