Maybe...
My guess on this shot is somewhere during the winter of '66. That Chevy in the driveway puts this on Bishop Street, one of my old hangouts. That's not an iPod in my hand there, but what it is I have no idea. My guess is that it's some book. In HS with the Jesuits, I was constantly reading something. I'm also dating this by what I'm wearing here. It looks to be one of my paisley shirts under my corduroy double-breasted winter coat. This image was sent along to me from friend JL. I have no idea what I was up to in this photograph. When I got into high school and started chasing the fair gender, I had lots of days like this.
Confusion reigned.
And I was a royal.
I believe this in an early photo of one of the Beatles. Note the mop top hair and the sly smile. He just knows that the old Chevy is going to be a classic.
ReplyDeleteI'm with TFG ! A little Mac Cartney side !
ReplyDeleteWe had the chance to live times when our clothes and hair helped us to put a date on pictures ! :o)

ReplyDeleteI agree with all of the above comments! Where's your guitar?
ReplyDeleteOh well everybody's already been here saying that you were the lost Beatle...
ReplyDeleteYep, my first thought was Paul McCartney. When I was 12 years old, I was convinced that I would grow up and marry him. I guess Elenka beat me to it!

ReplyDeleteI like the Beatles haircut.
ReplyDeleteGeez, I though George Harrison visited Portland. The Jesuits were no fun but I sure learned a lot under their supervision. Some of it was garbage, some not.
ReplyDeleteOf course -- you were confused -- you read too much -- barbara
ReplyDeleteA Beatle, my first thought!
