Three Trailers

Parked on Diamond Street, these three trailers await a cab backing up, hooking and lugging them away on an adventure. Adventures are good. Elenka and I have been on many. Some have been long, a 9 week summer trip to the West. We like to cruise. We've taken 7-10 day voyages. Some of our favorite sojourns though are the daily trips around our state. We throw cameras, lunch and our Maine Gazetteer into the back seat and take off. We usually have some idea of where we are heading, but things always seem to change en route.
Often, of course, we're shooting lots of pictures.
Many times though, the volume is small, but the day is still fruitful.
Adventures are rich.

  14. My parents used to set off on trips to places they had not figured out when they started. They called them "penny trips," as in, come to a branch and flip a penny to see whether to turn left or right.
