(while in the alcove, waiting to be seated, an overheard conversation between four young ladies at Bintliff's American Cafe)
"Well, it was all to happen after swimming practice. We had everything planned out, all the moves. It was a foolproof plan. It couldn't fail.

Lots of laughter!
The best plans...
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind typing on this beauty for a while. You have to be much more careful to avoid mistakes.
I shall be looking forward for Episode 2 ...

ReplyDeleteAnd I love that typewriter!
My grandfather had one of these and I remember typing on it when I was young. Now you can find those little circular keys on charm bracelets.
ReplyDeleteFantastic typewriter! The one I used in college wasn't too far off from that one. Looking forward to Episode #2.
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of old typewriters that look similar to that one, but they definitely are not noiseless!
ReplyDeleteI love found conversations and old typewriters.
ReplyDeleteI bet a lot of kids wouldn't know what that typewriter was. Waiting for episode 2.
ReplyDeleteI do hope you're going back to the cafe to find out what happens next!
ReplyDeleteI make far too many mistakes to use a typewriter!
Good start to this story!
