(an overheard conversation between a dad and daughter at Laroux Kitchen on Commercial Street)
"Did you see these grinders?"
"Dad, they're called pepper mills."
"I call them grinders. Honey, we need one of these...some sort of a mill."
But really! I have no good reason to have found myself in this establishment. Kitchen supplies? I'm at a loss for words!
Feels like if I type something, I will break something in the picture !!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot... perhaps you found something to assist in your bread-making efforts...

Cool place, I would buy several stuffs there!
ReplyDeleteLéia
you can always find something there!
ReplyDeleteI love those places. I liked to stop at restaurant supply stores too. You can find some neat stuff there. Did anybody get a "grinder?"
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that this is a great place, but the clutter in the middle would send me out the door.
ReplyDeleteNice photo. I don't cook, but for some odd reason I still like wandering through places like this. I think the correct technical term for the implement they were looking at is a pepper doohickey.
ReplyDeleteI see lots and lots of things that I could use. I might not need them but I could sure put them to use.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need to cook to go there - they have a great wine selection (I think that I got a bottle for Elenka there at Christmas time!). Also, you've been doing a lot of eavesdropping lately, haven't you??
ReplyDeleteI could find many good reasons to be there myself!
ReplyDeleteService for fifty -- great shot of what we feel we need. -- barbara
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at the picture, first thing I think of is; "I'm like a bull in a china closet". I love kitchen stores!
ReplyDeleteLol, don't you favour freshly GROUND pepper?
ReplyDeleteA nice shop, I am sure I'd like to shop there. Maybe I will overhear something interesting...
ReplyDeleteNice story! And lots of goodies to admire.
ReplyDeleteI had to click on that one to enlarge it because I thought I saw some kind of cow or cat hanging in front and my curiosity had to see what it was.
ReplyDeleteI like browsing kitchen supply stores but can't usually afford much in them!
Very funny! So what were you doing in this establishment? It doesn't look like a golf shop to me!
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on Ocala: You should have seen the girl from Ipanema! Wow!
Wow! So much to choose from!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great shop for gift shopping!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying these overheard conversations in the context of a photo. They enhance one another.
ReplyDeleteSo, what were you doing in there?
Ok, fly on the wall, where are you taking us next time?
