If you're looking for stupid, self-serving photos here of tea baggers and that other 99%, boy(or girl) you better move along briskly. Enough already! I say. Stop. Relax. Enjoy. Drink in the natural world all around you. It's so much more interesting!
Our two adirondack chairs are such soothing, reassuring places to hang out in on these fall afternoons. The warmth of the sun feels so good on your face. Even in the rain, there is comfort for me here.
That afternoon sun sounds nice.
ReplyDeletebeau jeu de couleur, une feuille d'automne qui essaye de s'enfuir ;))
ReplyDeleteI am with you on this!
ReplyDeleteDitto Farmchick.
ReplyDeleteDitto, Farmchick and Jack! Love that contrast of color...
ReplyDeleteAh, perfect simplicity, ahhhh.
ReplyDeleteVery nice reminder!
ReplyDeleteUnlike some folks, I really love a soft rain drizzle. The last leaf of the season?
ReplyDeleteThere is always comfort looking at your photographs and reading your texts.
ReplyDeleteCostas
a beautiful image, for sure...
ReplyDeleteLove the photo. Fall is such a great time of the year...I'm enjoying the cool sunny days immensely!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a lovely picture. Just looking at it makes me feel relaxed!
ReplyDeleteRaining here today and cold. Autumn. No more sitting in chairs, let alone Adirondack ones. Hey, that's something I could ask Father Christmas for.
ReplyDeleteI am craving some sun - it feels like it has been cloudy here for a week!
ReplyDeleteAll I know is I feel the need to be leaved alone!
ReplyDeleteThe rain is okay. You just have to overcome common social attitudes. One of my few claims to fame (or infamy) is that I was a Woodstock. When one of those big thunderstorms broke the kids all started scattering for shelter. The Dead were playing - Jerry Garcia picked up the mike and shouted at us, "Hey! Sit down and shut up! You're not made of sugar. You won't melt." And you know, he was right.
ReplyDeleteWonderful autumn shot. Now it's time to curl up with hot wine punch by candlelight. Wish you warm hours.
ReplyDeletenice!
ReplyDeletenow only if i had a porch or a small balcony...
