Adirondack Rain

If you're looking for stupid, self-serving photos here of tea baggers and that other 99%, boy(or girl) you better move along briskly. Enough already! I say. Stop. Relax. Enjoy. Drink in the natural world all around you. It's so much more interesting!
Our two adirondack chairs are such soothing, reassuring places to hang out in on these fall afternoons. The warmth of the sun feels so good on your face. Even in the rain, there is comfort for me here.

  3. Unlike some folks, I really love a soft rain drizzle. The last leaf of the season?

  7. Raining here today and cold. Autumn. No more sitting in chairs, let alone Adirondack ones. Hey, that's something I could ask Father Christmas for.

  10. The rain is okay. You just have to overcome common social attitudes. One of my few claims to fame (or infamy) is that I was a Woodstock. When one of those big thunderstorms broke the kids all started scattering for shelter. The Dead were playing - Jerry Garcia picked up the mike and shouted at us, "Hey! Sit down and shut up! You're not made of sugar. You won't melt." And you know, he was right.

  11. Wonderful autumn shot. Now it's time to curl up with hot wine punch by candlelight. Wish you warm hours.
