Love That Snow!
I hope this is my one last glance at winter. This was my look at 7 AM yesterday morning, out my front door. The snow was heavy and very wet. We lost power but only for a couple of hours. If you think you'd enjoy a scene like this in April, move to Maine. As for me, I'm checking out travel brochures this weekend. Maybe joining Creech in the Carolinas! Ha!
Ho! It's beautiful, that snow, but yep, you need a dose of warmth and sun with no-boots, no-jackets, no-hats!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful photo, but enough with the snow Mother Nature!!! I would suggest a beach in Florida.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful shot. Winter always looks exiting from a no-winter-at-all place.
ReplyDeleteYour mind this morning is beery, beery stimulated by thoughts of warm, sunny climes, like where Ocala is located. C'mon down!
ReplyDeleteLovely spring photo, though!
Snow---so what!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have had record amount of rain for March and it hasn't stopped for April---no juke---The rivers are flooding and the webs are growing between my toes. I need to build an ark too. MB
Spriiiiiiing!!!! It's gorgeous though.
ReplyDeleteThat wet, heavy snow makes everything look like it's sugar coated. Strange weather everywhere lately. It got to 100 degrees in Phoenix yesterday. Believe me, it is way to early for temperatures like that.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo, but I would be seriously fed up if I still had snow!
ReplyDeleteThis is Mother Nature's April Fool's joke on you... one day late! Lovely capture, Birdman, but I'm done with winter. :-D
ReplyDeleteit can be beautiful like your shot --- but too cruel!
ReplyDeleteWell.. snow is beautiful and your photograph make it appear more so.
ReplyDeleteBut I understand one can have only that much.
You had a really long winter in Main.
Time for some change.
Have a great weekend.
Costas
It is pretty, but I think I'll stay down here where today it is sunny and 80 degrees.
ReplyDeleteYou did get a very nice photo out of it though. We are the two extremes, in Tucson it's 95 (way too hot) and then you with your snow :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I heard that New England got snow! Not a very funny April Fool's joke, was it? (But it is pretty.)
ReplyDeleteHey, it snowed 3 inches here the first week in April back in 1987! And it was a surprise snow at that! Lasted til about noon that day.
ReplyDeleteIf it's going to snow it should always look like this. Love the shot.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. The sharp lines of the branches under their piles of snow make such interesting texture.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous shot! But spring for me, please :-)
ReplyDeleteChilly shot, but it really is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful photo but a mean April fool's trick! That could easily happen here in Minnesota, too!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot.
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing about April snow is that it doesn't last long. It sure has been a loooong winter!
ReplyDelete☼ Sunny
Hopefully it has melted by now!
ReplyDeleteI hope it will be sun and warm soon in beautiful Maine.
ReplyDeleteUh-oh... it snowed last night here in Toronto. But I think later it turned to a slushy rain so it didn't stick. Isn't it time for spring now?? :)
ReplyDeleteStill, the white stuff makes for a gorgeous photo here!
okay, birdman, let's gather the families for a road trip south!
ReplyDeleteAmen for that road trip, Cat. The snow has a proper season, and April isn't it!
