Turn Ahead

Yesterday, my morning trip found me fighting more blurry driving along with an early morning thunder and lightening show. Earlier, when took the trash out at 5 AM, I knew something was up. It was humid, and there was an eerie, close to the ground layer of mist or fog that had me thinking... smoke? Was there a fire somewhere? You can tell things are changing around here. It's close to 60 degrees right now, and most of this remaining snow will be gone soon.

  1. Oh, this does have an eerie feeling about it. Your landscape looks a bit like ours, with the snow rapidly fading. After the warm weather it's interesting to see the stubbornness of some small patches of snow...still hanging on!

  2. I hope Spring can be there soon!I'm so happy here with sun and all vegetation around us is becoming green now.
But you took a fabulous shot, this picture is beautiful!

  3. Close to 60 degrees?! Heat wave! This is a cool capture. I really like the trace of snow still on the ground and the trees emerging from the fog.

  4. We had that misty fog down here in NC yesterday, too. We call it the London Fog. Went to the beach and sat shrouded in it. Ooooh.

  7. On days like that, our local weatherman always says to be careful driving because "the vermin will be lurking"! It makes a pretty picture though.

  12. Stephen King lives in Bangor so I know that's not lurking around the bend. But something bad may be.
