Here I am driving across the Fore River yesterday mid-morning. The combination of ice flats and flowing water quite caught my eye so I just had to pull over into the breakdown lane and snap a few shots off. I had to be fast, because as you can see, yes it was snowing a bit. Not a lot, but it created some slippery intersections and some overall greasy driving. Off in the distance, you can make out the Western Prom, on the left, rising over the river, and the Fore River bridge heading off towards South Portland. The snow sort of adds a vintage look to the scene, I think. The coldest weather of the season headed here this weekend. Do you suffer triskadekaphobia? Any phobias? I just fear another blizzard this weekend.
